About the work

It Can't Rain All the Time is inspired by this iconic phrase that has become a mantra for getting through dark times.

The work plays on the tension between a fine rain — almost meditative — and a more raw graphic construction, where ink and acrylic overlap like layers of emotion.

Black and white evokes a cinematic aesthetic, both melancholic and resilient.

The play does not seek to illustrate sadness, but to translate that moment when one breathes through it.

A simple, minimalist image that leaves room for what each person projects onto it.

"The rain always stops eventually, even if you stay under it for a while."
