Art, since the caves, has always been offering the passer-by what you know how to do.

After BZ — after the hive closed in on itself — comes the opening. Passe-Fleur is the natural continuation: the BZzz leaving the studio, heading out into the street, offering something to someone.

Its name pays homage to the Passe-Muraille — that figure who passes through walls without a sound, out of pure desire to cross. An arm emerges from a drainpipe, a corner, an interstice that the building’s architecture allows. A hand offers a painted wood flower whose heart is a spray can cap: the tool of creation becomes an integral part of the work. On the flower, a hand-painted resin BZzz, customised according to where it lands.

Every installation is unique. The piece is in dialogue with its context — the wall, the neighbourhood, the passer-by who happens to look up. It is for them. A gentleness offered without condition, placed there and left.

The street is an exhibition. It is wonderful.
